The venue is fairly clean, the staff is genuinely professional. Everything is second to none, the room is well-equipped and tastefully decorated with a jacuzzi bath and an amazing view, for instance. Its location is incredible and lovely, right by Famous Sigiriya Rock fort, a mountain in front of Sigirya, and a forest and monkeys. There is Kanchana Restaurant very close to the hotel, had dinner there.

Very beautiful and large hotel Next to the rock, parts of the rock right in the building that is impressive, extraordinary view of the lake, a lot of monkeys (white and gray with black faces, not like the other monkeys on the island) and there are other animals. A delicious and rich breakfast and a buffet for dinner. Cozy rooms. Smart Casual for dinner, no shorts allowed. Pool overlooking the lake.
In the shower cabin showers only the upper, i.e, if the girl does not want to wet his head, it is difficult to rinse. There were no slippers in the room, for such money could have put. For breakfast, an incomprehensible system of providing tables, i.e, the most comfortable tables are empty and waiting for VIP clients, a little unpleasant.

The food was outstanding, particularly the a la carte restaurant. Views were amazing. Great facilities. Welcoming food snacks! Super comfy bed.
Spa area was awesome but a little ?dated/corroded. Light switches weren't very convenient (haha).

A sense of complete unity with nature. An unusual hotel, "implanted" in the jungle...
Noisy pipes (at night you will hear if someone drained the toilet in their room). Low parapets in public places almost everywhere. If you're with a little kid, it's not safe to keep it from falling out all the time. It's like there's no room door in the hallway. Our room was with a door right next to the bed - what is not the most convenient option. It took more than an hour to check in, although we arrived at the time of check-in - well, they are very slow. At the same time about the time of eviction three times called and clarified with us in advance, although we left on time. During the rain, water was pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom.

The staff was attentive and friendly, and the hotel's proximity to the fine Kandalama Reservoir, just a few steps away, made my morning walks enjoyable.

Everything.. Great welcome straight at the pool side with a welcome drink of your choice, excellent location, nice staff, lovely rooms, a nice mountain/jungle trek to the kandalama rock. Excellent bathrooms, almost open to the jungle, showering here feels great :-) Go for the 5th floor or higher for a better view. It rained the days we stayed here and it was wonderful :-)
Wifi keeps disconnecting.. But since I was in a holiday it worked for me.. But for official conferences it might be a problem :-(

Breakfast was amazing, lots of choices. Hotel surrounding and pool view is to die for. We really liked how the hotel is incorporated in the nature.
The rooms were not clean and this wasn't expected in such high class hotel. Bathtub was full of brown stains and hair and mirrors were completely dirty. Bathroom is so beautiful, so it's a shame that it's not better taken care for. Check in was very slow.
